Initiated the founding
of the Beijing Qigong Association, 1979.
One of the earliest to
conduct academic lectures on qigong from 1979.
In 1980, the first
person to systematically documented the theories and practices of qigong
scientifically, coining the phrase 'Qigong Science' for the first time. He then
formulated the practice methods and gave public lectures and demonstrations.
He was the chief
lecturer instructor at the First National Qigong Teacher's Training Class
organized by the China Federation of Trade Unions in 1980 & 1984.
Teachings and Writings
Prof Pang pioneered
the Chi-field Technique of healing in 1984 and published his works in both
theory and practical practice in 1986.
As one of the founding
member of China Qigong Science Correspondence Institute, he wrote 'The Theory of
Unity of Consciousness' and 'The HunYuan Entirety Theory' publishing them in
nine volumes in 1990. (Used as University Qigong course Textbooks).
He participated in the
compilation and composition of 'The National Teaching Program of Qigong Science',
1997 and the vetting and editing of works authorized by the 'China
Association of Qigong Science on Fitness Qigong' in 1998.
